With God in the presence of satan

the most recent post abt feasting with God in presence of satan reminds me of
Job 1:8 Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil."

i feel tat Dad place us in the presence of enemy also becoz he wants us to know tat with Him, everythin is possible, including safety in the midst of enemies... and also a sense of Daddy pride towards us, His children, when we are obedient, able to depend and trust in Him totally...

by the way Pastor Jennifer doin a book study on Nehemiah fer youth sermons now... first session was gd... abt rebuilding walls in Neh 1 but the podcast on church website is not up yet...

your previous posts led me to certain foundational issues... like temptations not the same as sin, conviction is not condemnation, "falling forward" when we fall and tat we are each uniquely made =)

did a simple bible study on armour of God so i'll juz share...
"belt of truth" -> belt holds everythin together hence God's truth holds all the other parts in place
"breastplate of righteousness" -> breastplate fortifies the heart against the attacks of satan
"readiness from the gospel of peace" -> feet muz be ready to stand their ground or to march forward in rugged paths
"shield of faith" -> faith applying the word of God and the grace of Christ will protect us from tempations [flaming arrows of enemy]
"helmet of salvation" -> head knowledge of salvation and Word of God will protect us from ungodly thoughts from the enemy
"sword of Spirit" -> only weapon needed: Word of God
"pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests" -> allows renewing/maintenance of armour... armour may get slightly stained or damaged from each battle...
anyone wanna discuss it further? =)
