Hello my dear beloved cellmates,
Greetings from USA! :)
I have something to share with you all that really struck a chord in me, and I pray it will do the same in you all too.
Do all of us have desires and wishes deep inside our hearts? Desire to see things change, desires to improve and be a better person etc etc?
Well, let us see our desires as gifts to heed rather than longings to suppress, and we will feel the joy to pursue our desires. We must learn to constantly ask ourselves, what have we always done WELL and what have we loved to do? Many may find this question rather simple. Many may ask, don't we need to measure something or take some tests in order to find out what we are go at? Yes that may be true to a certain extent. Yes, people may consult teachers, take many "discover your gifts" kind of tests. I do not deny that many of these might aid us in our search for what we do best and what we love to do. But while these may aid us, I believe a simpler answer lies before us. Or should I say, it lies WITHIN us.
Max Lucado said "The oak indwells the acorn. Read your life BACKWARDS and check your supplies." What has Daddy placed in you? Re-relish your moments of success and moments when you find satisfaction. For in the merger of these 2, we all will find our uniqueness.
I believe each of us have that unique gift God placed in us and many of us have the potential to exercise that gift. May all of us turn that potential into reality and may that potential become actions of Faith. Love you guys.
