ok here's a quick one. on monday 2 colleagues and i was supposed to help carry out a piece of glass out from a display cabinet as it kinda dirty inside. our head wanted us to clean up the interior part because some high ranking official is coming on friday.
so to remove that piece of glass out, you need to use some suction thing to aid you. when the suction thing was being fixed onto the glass, that 2 colleagues of mine proceeded to lift it out while i was in the middle to help support them. half-way through before we could lift it out, the whole glass shattered right infront of us. in split second , the piece of glass was in pieces.
could you imagine a piece of glass, (roughly my height ) shattered right infront of the 3 of us? there was no warning or anything. unless we all have spider-sense haha.
so the aftermath was, 2 of my colleague suffered some cuts on their arms, thank God the cuts wasn't deep. and the most importantly thing to thank God is no one was seriously injured, eg hit on the head, deep cuts, or glass pieces getting into the eye.
what about my injuries? a small cut to my left pinky finger. i was really thankful at that point of time. seriously. praise God.
