Cell Nov 2nd

Word
(the materials prepared by Kev is sent out in an email)

Highlights:
- God says: you are Mine
- 'Petition' from Phi 4:6 (like the overwriting/keeping of the Penal code sections 377A, many petitions were made on both sides...we can also make our petitions to God for each other, share our burdens and pray for one another)
- Kingdom of God (two ways of looking at it, parable of the man who bought the field which had the treasure, using all of he owns; King and we are his prince and princesses)
- God is our righteousness and that is the root of our walk. Faith is the seed? Fruits of the Holy Spirit. We may have fruits sometimes but maybe not all the time. There can be different fruits too at different seasons

Testimony and sharing time

No triumph without a trial,
No testimony without a test,
No victory without a battle.

What i would type here would be very brief, so feel free to add on! thanks :D If not, journal it down in your personal journal and// share it with someone in the cell!

Ivan: Angsana tree almost hit him! Thank God for protection. Daniel 3
Samuel: Bro's safety. Giving is better than receiving
Louisa: Good project group mates. Burden of sharing the gospel with friends. Romans 1:16
Su fern: (oops, no time but you can add here ya!)
Tina: God singing over her, and waking her up gently when she was supposed to complete her project assignment.
Deborah: God's graciousness. Jeremiah 33:3
Ee-Li: Good period of rest and knowing God more! Matthew 5, Salt and Light
Xian Jie: Almost died 3 times! (you want to add about your soaking session?)
Kai Jie: Words, thoughts and actions to be more Christ-like. Psalms 57
Chris Kwan: Lines that draw the circle. God's character revealed to us line by line. He is the circle and we might not have seen the other lines that make this circle.
Franco: Mom and Dad growing stronger in God. Testimony about how his mother cared for the elderly and reached out to them through many unexpected ways... God has provided and He will continue to provide. Romans 8:17 (Suffering)
Winston: More and more of His character and grace. Ecclesiastes..spoke to the workaholic and slacker in him. Will share more when things fall into place.
Kevin: Trying to be a good student. Grace from God when it's needed.
Aurelia: Long testimony about how God has brought me through from graduation till getting a job now. (will write it down and post it here another time) Exodus 3:14. It was during sunday morning prayer that i saw a hand writing on the sand 'I AM' and when the water washed over it, i thought it would dissapear! But when the water receded, the markings of the words 'I AM' were still there. I interpreted it as even when the storms of life drown us, God is still there and He is with us. It was a suprise to me that Kevin chosed the song I Am by Mark Schultz too for our soaking session :)
