hey cell, did u feel an extra strong presence of God during the last youth service? not tat God is not present during previous ones but His presence seemed very strong last week. i was very ministered.

i asked God wad He wanna speak to us abt and He told me Ps 114. i tink the whole Psalm can be summarized in verse 7:
Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,
at the presence of the God of Jacob,

the next thing i know, Chris led "here in Your Presence" which has the words "tremble" and "presence". still trying to find out wad is God speakin to me abt. anyone has any experiences to share abt tremblin in God's presence? =)

sermon talked abt 17 year old David used by God to change a nation's destiny. the power of God is evident in the fact tat a stone can't really break the bronze helmet of Goliath. David's worship onto God translated to obedience, then servanthood, and lastly to taking a position which no one wanted to take [no one wanted to fight Goliath]. the question to bring away with is "what is my Phillistine giant?".
my giant is tat i lack courage at times to take a position which no one wants to take. but i'm actively learning to lean on Dad and be rooted in His Word. this will allow me to focus on following His heart and not to be intimidated by wad other people may think.
